CFN places Emmanwori on Midseason Freshman All-America Team

Emmanwori has gone from overlooked recruit to back-end thumper with 37 tackles, including 31 solos. South Carolina has had two true freshman defensive backs who have seen a lot of game action through six games in the 2022 season Nick Emmanwori and DQ Smith.Both of the local products have shined during their time on the field and especially Emmanwori who leads the team in tackles with 37. In addition to his 37 tackles, Emmanwori also has one pass breakup and one quarterback hurry. On Tuesday, College Football News’ Rich Cirminiello released his Midseason Freshman All-American Team and Emmanwori made the list.
