I am not going to name any names, ya'll know who it was, but I was really glad to see one O-line starter being dropped. He let the D keep getting by him and getting straight to our QB in the pocket. The QB is supposed to be able to step up into the pocket, he made it so there was no pocket about 50% of the pass plays. I hate the way Jake plays sometimes, but it was not all his fault. As far as the receivers missing their routes, maybe they need to give Urich the chance again like they did in spring. What about Legette? And watching Edwards drop 2 and seem to slow down when that long ball came his way like he did not even expect it. Hopefully we will see several changes to go with our new QB.

As far as Ryan goes, I went and watched some of his film again. Great talent, hope he really picks us up. And that kid is really strong, go look as his arms. I hope he gives us the boost we need. Jake saved our team as a freshman, maybe Ryan can too.

Definitely glad Donnell Stanley is back at his normal spot. Manos will help us, I have no doubt. Center is a very difficult position (I know from my time in HS ball!) also, so it helps to practice vs other people not on the team.

That is a problem, to me, that college teams never scrimmage like HS/Pro squads do. I think it helps tremendously... Just my take.
