I don't think there's been any official word from the school on this yet, but here are my thoughts.
Lower bowl capacity is right around 11K, which was the max capacity of the old Carolina Coliseum.
Usually there are 7-10K that show up for the OOC games, with the exception of the ranked OOC opponents Dawn thankfully schedules.
I like going to the lesser home games because I usually can get the seat location in the lower bowl I want, plus there is plenty of room to spread out. Very enjoyable.
Much of the core home crowd are older fans and ST holders who obviously remember the good ole days of the Frank McGuire era. Unfortunately this means they are also more at risk from the virus and probably won't risk being exposed at the home games no matter precautions are put in place.
So I think there should be no attendance limits because of those reasons. Or just make the limit 11K and let the people spread out on their own with the yellow-dressed security folks enforcing social distancing as needed.
Discuss.
