4 star DE Chauncey Rivers 6'2" 238lbs of Stone Mountain, GA is having a monster junior season. Thus far he has 45 tackles with 10 sacks and 12 tackles for loss. He had 67 tackles and 8 sacks for all of last season. Rivers committed to USC in July and said he remains firmly committed. But the offers continue to come in and one school in particular, Clemson, is pushing pretty hard. "They are contacting me real hard and want me to come up there," said Rivers who is hearing from Marion Hobby. Rivers said he was supposed to go to one of Clemson's home games thus far but couldn't make it. He does plan to be at USC for the Clemson game. And he will be at USC this Saturday for the Kentucky game which will be his first game at Williams-Brice. "I'm very strong, real firm," Rivers said of his USC commitment. "I want to see how the atmosphere is and how the coaches coach on the sidelines and how the players get to play." Rivers also has picked up recent offers from Kentucky, Missouri, Vanderbilt and Ohio. He also has offers from Florida and Auburn along with USC and Clemson.
