Steve Spurrier says that Connor Shaw, "is still a little iffy, but he thinks he can play." Dylan Thompson has taken most of the practice snaps.

Full Spurrier quote: "The only update is he threw the ball around a little bit today, but not as much as he did last week before the game. We'll see how he feels tomorrow and the next day. He's still a little iffy, but he thinks he can play. ... If he's in pain, we're not going to play him. I can't play a player who is in pain, no matter how big a game, or whatever it is. Our trainers keep thinking there's no way he can hurt the bone bruise anymore, and he has a good chance of playing. We'll just wait it out until Saturday."

When asked about splitting time with Dylan Thompson, Spurrier said: "He's not taking as many as Dylan. Dylan, Seth, and Andrew Clifford takes a few. Connor has not taken all that much this week."

lastest on Connor Shaw

Connor Shaw situation is nobody really knows for sure how effective he'll be on Saturday, but it appears he will be given the opportunity to start the game, barring something unforeseen. He isn't in danger of further injury to the same shoulder and was able to throw some yesterday and today. If he's able to play without pain and is performing pretty well, I would expect the staff to leave him as long as is needed. I get the impression Steve Spurrier has no interest in leaving him out there if it's a scenario where he's wincing in pain and obviously playing with discomfort.
