Is that a good fit?

Sources: LSU is expecting to hire Notre Dame’s Brian Kelly as the school’s next head coach. An announcement could come as early as tomorrow.

Is losing to Bama in the regular season at LSU any different than getting whacked by them in the CFPs when he has been at Notre Dame?

Kelly must need a change of scenery or something.

so much irony in Bobo's last year it is crazy. But karma sucks, Mike.

And, Auburn paid a bunch of money for nothing🤣
The crazy thing is Bobo probably gets an extension and bonus if Auburn had found some offense to upset Bama.

Satt has not been any better than Bobo was in his last season here, in fact, maybe worse with essentially the same group of players.  The same group of players is the common thread between the two coordinators.

Same underperforming crap, different OC.

I thought our Bobo-led offense last year was lightyears ahead of this year's $%^& with Satt. We had a solid identity as a running team, produced the SEC's leading rusher, etc.

Ed Orgeron and Les Miles on National Championshps  there and nobody in praising there genius. You have a good chance at LSU every five years or so just on Louisiana talent alone.

I would welcome him back. We need SEC coaching experience and as the last few days have shown, college coaches aren't the most loyal people. I could give him a pass.

Bobo was essentially a dead man walking when he came here in what many assumed would be Muschamp's last season.

Along those lines, I thought Mangus wanted more of a true DT QB-led offense and seemed to be in conflict with Spurrier and then Elliott took over.  Shawn Elliott is winning ball games with that style of offense at Georgia State as well.  I felt Elliott and Mangus would have turned the offense around if given a whole season to do so.

Shane has obviously worked with Mangus before when he was previously here.  Bobo seemed to not be liked by the same players he was somewhat successful at pushing to a higher level in a short amount of time.  We were only getting the players' side of things.  I mean, Bobo was obviously taking them out of their comfort zone to get them to play better.

I just think Satt's shorter contract is a sign that he wants to get back in the NFL rather than stay here.  Either Bobo or Mangus would be better than Satt at this point.

Announcement on Hokies hiring Penn State DC Brent Pry likely today. @PeteThamel first. Pry’s big-whistle debut will be at @ODUFootball against his former Nittany Lions colleague Ricky Rahne

Matt Jones✔@KySportsRadio

It is my understanding that Mark Stoops and Mitch Barnhart reached an agreement Sunday about investment and changes that needed to be made to the program

I now expect Mark Stoops to remain as the coach at Kentucky

Source: LSU head coach Brian Kelly reached out to Notre Dame defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman on Monday in an effort to bring him to Baton Rouge. Kelly would intend to make Freeman the highest paid defensive coordinator in college football.
