DURHAM, N.C—Florida State continued to distance itself from the rest of the Atlantic Coast Conference by sweeping rival Miami, improving to 19-2 in the league and checking in at No. 1 in the Baseball America College Top 25 rankings for the third straight week.

Behind the Seminoles, Kentucky and Baylor continued their steady climbs up the rankings by winning marquee series against top 10 opponents. Kentucky took two of three from Louisiana State to reach No. 2 in the rankings. Meanwhile, Baylor swept then-No. 2 Texas A&M to remain perfect in Big 12 Conference play at 18-0 and extend its overall winning streak to 24 games, earning this week's No. 3 ranking along the way.

The Aggies fell to No. 9 in the rankings after getting swept, and they're followed by four Pacific-12 Conference squads in Oregon, Arizona, UCLA and Stanford at Nos. 10-13. Those four squads along with Oregon State are separated by just 2 1/2 games at the top of the Pac-12 standings, with Stanford, which sits in fourth place, having closed the gap after sweeping No. 23 Arizona State over the weekend.

Mississippi won two of three against No. 21 Arkansas in another showdown of ranked squads this weekend. The Rebels moved up four spots to No. 18 in rankings while the Razorbacks, who spent much of the first half of the season ranked in the top five, fell to No. 21.

For the second straight week, no new teams joined the rankings.

The staff of Baseball America determines the Top 25 rankings. Records indicated are through games of April 22 and do not include ties.
