Lower Richland 4 star junior WR Larry Collins Jr. 6'3" 185lbs was at Tennessee last weekend and this Saturday he plans to be at USC where the Vols will be the Gamecocks’ opponent. He also was at USC for the Georgia game and he’s been to North Carolina.
Collins watched the Vols last week as they fought back to a respectable loss to Alabama. Their offense took offer after they took the redshirt off quarterback Josh Dobbs and inserted him into the game.
“Tennessee was a great visit with the stadium the fans and the quarterback,” Collins said. “I love how they throw the ball. All the receivers get the chance to catch the ball.”
Collins said right now Tennessee and North Carolina are recruiting him the hardest. He gets a lot of mail and the like from USC and Clemson but hasn’t talked to either one recently. He said he probably would go to Clemson for the USC game. He does not have a favorite.
Collins as offers from USC, Clemson, Tennessee. Auburn, Florida State, Virginia, Appalachian State and North Carolina. He estimated he has 25 catches for about 600 yards and 12 touchdowns this season.
