2014 NCAA Regionals:**USC vs. Campbell GAME Thread**
South Carolina (42-16) opens postseason play on Friday night at the top seed in the Columbia Regional. The Gamecock will face No. 4 seed Campbell (40-19). First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. It will be streamed live on ESPN3 and available on the Gamecock IMG Network including flagship station, 107.5 FM, "The Game."

BASEBALL SHUTTLE LOCATION CHANGE
The South Carolina baseball gameday shuttle location will be moved to Bates House area for the NCAA Columbia Regional. The shuttle move is to alleviate anticipated parking problems associated with high school graduations on campus this weekend. The change in location will ensure that the USC Baseball traffic does not coincide with the graduation traffic.
The shuttle and handicapped parking will be moved to the 1400 block of Whaley Street at the corner of Whaley and Bull Streets.

TOP 1 - Jordan Montgomery to the mound. Looking to bounce back after a couple of off-the-mark starts. Facing a Campbell team that likes to stick their head out and get hit by pitches. Leads the NCAA in that category. Key for him is going to be keeping the ball off the Camels' bodies. Gets Leonard to pop out to right field where Bright is patrolling. Reilly then goes down on strikes. Nadolski hits a bouncer back up the middle over Montgomery's head and into center. Two outs, one on. Montgomery behind 2-0. Parrish hits a bullet back up the middle to put runners at the corners with two down. Montgomery behind again 1-0. Albertson tries to check his swing but hits a bouncer to Arendas at second, who makes the play 4-3 to end the inning. No score.
BOTTOM 1 - Gamecocks load the bases with no outs. Mooney and Schrock single to center and Pankake walks. Kyle Martin is first pitch swinging and hits a line drive down the right field line but foul. He goes down 0-2 but then hits a chopper through the right side. Hits off of first baseman Seth LaRue's glove and into right field. Two runs score standing up and puts runners at the corners for Greiner. He pops up behind second base. Not what he was looking for at all there. Arendas up. He lifts a fly ball to center plenty deep enough to get the run home. Bright's slicing liner to right falls into Brown's glove to end the inning. Carolina leads 3-0
TOP 2 - Pankake mishandles a bouncer. Tries to rush the throw, which is high and wide. Leadoff base runner for the Capmbells. Trail strikes out on a pitch he tried to stick his leg out to get hit by. One down. Pankake makes a charge play, gets the runner at first. LaRue advances to third though. Bouncer by Borders rides up on Mooney, but he was able to corral it and throw it to first in time for the out. Nice stretch by Martin. Carolina leads 3-0.
BOTTOM 2 - Gene Cone bounces a single up the middle just past Borders at second base. English can't get a couple of bunts down and then strikes out. One down for Mooney. Some hit and run action. Mooney grounds to third base. Fielded cleanly. Cone slides in safely at second but Mooney thrown out at first base. Two down, Schrock up with a runner in scoring position. Schrock hits a bouncer to first. LaRue moves to his right and flips to the pitcher. Just gets Schrock, who moved down the line pretty well there. Carolina leads 3-0.
TOP 3 - Leonard pops out to second. One down. Arendas makes another nice defensive play - he's really settled in at second base - moving to his right. Throws across his body for the second out of the inning. Strong throw, too. Montgomery now on 49 pitches after a strikeout to end the inning. That's three for him. Carolina leads 3-0.
BOTTOM 3 - Pankake flies out to deep center and Martin bounces out 4-3. Two quick outs for Bowers. Greiner hits a spinner to second base, which is fielded easily by Borders, who throws to first for the final out of the inning. Carolina leads 3-0. Bowers at 49 pitches as well.
TOP 4 - Montgomery gets a strikeout to begin the inning on a changeup. Parrish goes down. Albertson hits a fly ball to right tracked down easily by Bright. LaRue just hit his second home run of the season lifting a fastball just below the belt into the bullpen in left center. Gives the Fighting Camels a run. Monty gets Trail to bounce out 5-3 to end the inning though. Carolina leads 3-1
BOTTOM 4 - Arendas is hit by a 2-2 pitch to lead off the inning. Bright pops out to the catcher for the first out of the inning. After going ahead 3-0, the count is worked back to full on Gene Cone. Arendas takes off for second on the pitch. He slides in safely to second base as Cone grounds out 6-3. English up. His 1-2 bouncer to third base is fielded cleanly. He's thrown out at first to end the inning. Carolina leads 3-1.
TOP 5 - 8-9-1 up for the Fighting Camels this inning. Strikeout, 6-3 ground out. A 1-2 bouncer to third by Leonard. Montgomery looking sharp after missing some in the first inning. Carolina leads 3-1. Monty at 74 pitches.
BOTTOM 5 - Marcus Mooney hits a chopper over the third baseman. Not sure what came over him there trying to go for second base. He's gunned down by a mile by the left fielder. Schrock serves a single to left. One on, one out. Pankake drops a single to center. Martin hits a bullet but Borders fields it on a hop and starts a 4-6-3 double play to end the inning. Carolina leads 3-1
TOP 6 - Monty back to the bump nursing a 3-1 lead. He goes ahead 0-2 on two-hole hitter Reilly, who looks like a little guy but hitting .320. Make it 2-2 now. Two hopper to Arendas. One down. Bouncer to Mooney. Two down. High heat at 90 mph gets Parrish swinging to end the inning. Carolina leads 3-1.
BOTTOM 6 - Greiner stepping in the bucket a little bit tonight. Had a big problem with that his freshman year but only on a rare occasion since. He bounces a 1-2 pitch back to the pitcher. One down. Arendas with a sharp two-hopper to second. Borders makes the play. Two down. Bright hits a bouncer through the left side. Welcome back, Mr. Bright. That's his first hit since April 19. Cone with a line drive through the right side to put runners on the corners with two down for Tanner English. RHP Bobby Thorson enters to face English. He goes down in the count 0-2. Cone takes second. Indifference. No stolen base. He tries to check his swing but bounces out U3. Spikes his helmet and batting gloves in the dugout. Don't blame him. Not the best at-bat of his career. Carolina leads 3-1
TOP 7 - Bullet by Albertson to Arendas. One hop right into Arendas' midsection. Nice play fielding it cleanly. Makes the easy throw to first. One down. LaRue strikes out swinging, Trail looking. Heck of a game for Montgomery so far. He's on 99 pitches through seven innings. Carolina leads 3-1.
BOTTOM 7 - Mooney works a leadoff walk. He takes second on a muffed catch by the first baseman, it's ruled. Schrock is going to be disappointed in himself as he hits a flare to third caught for the first out of the inning. RHP Ryan Thompson into the game now. Side-armer with the frisbee slider. Pankake barrels him up but his line drive is right at Albertson in left. Two down. Martin walks, brings up Greiner, who goes ahead 2-0. He gets a good piece of a 2-0 pitch but his liner to center is caught. Carolina leads 3-1.
TOP 8 - A leadoff single down the right field line by pinch hitter Kyle Leady. Bright hustles over there and cuts it off to hold him to just a single. Nice work there. Pinch hitter Danny Pardo. He goes down looking. Leadoff hitter Leonard tries to bunt his way on but it was back to the mound. Monty fields and throws to first for the out. Jerry Meyers out to the mound to talk to his pitcher. Monty stays in. He starts Reilly out with a breaking ball and goes ahead 0-1. He gets a ground out 4-3 to end the inning. Carolina leads 3-1.
