Corey Miller to Represent South Carolina in 2024 SEC Legends Class – University of South Carolina Athletics

Corey Miller was a standout defensive end for the Gamecocks from 1987-90 who went on to a successful NFL career. Miller earned All-South Independent honors as a defensive end in both 1989 and 1990. During his career he totaled 187 tackles with 15 tackles for loss and 10 sacks. Selected as Carolina’s Outstanding Defensive Player in 1989 and a team captain in 1990, he played in the Blue-Gray All-Star game following his senior campaign. Miller was selected by the New York Giants in the sixth round of the 1991 NFL Draft and logged seven seasons with the Giants from 1991-98 before wrapping up his playing days with the Minnesota Vikings in 1999. In his NFL career he collected 253 tackles including 14 quarterback sacks, six forced fumbles and seven interceptions. Miller was inducted into the South Carolina Lettermen’s Hall of Fame in 2022.
