Signing day 2014 has arrived and it's shaping up to be an exciting day for South Carolina fans. There are strong indications the Gamecocks could close out this class in ideal fashion at two positions of need:

DE - Dexter Wideman
DE - Blake McClain
CB - Chris Lammons
CB - Wesley Green

Wideman is still on the board as a Florida State commitment but multiple sources on the Gamecock side of things and the Wideman side of things believe he will sign with South Carolina today. He’s set to announce around 2:45 p.m. at his school.

McClain committed to Nebraska over the weekend after taking an official visit to Lincoln, but the Gamecock staff, led by Steve Spurrier Jr., continued to pursue him despite his pledge. Even though he hasn’t visited Columbia yet, he wants to sign his letter of intent today and as of late last night there were strong signs it would be with the Gamecocks. Last I heard his plan was to do so between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m.

Lammons has kept people guessing and did not tip his hand one way or the other in an interview with 247Sports on Monday. However, sources on the South Carolina end of things are cautiously optimistic they will the choice. Wisconsin continued to pursue him very hard as well. His announcement is set for 1:00 p.m.

Green will announce his decision during the 5:00 hour on Fox Sports South. He did not visit Georgia over the weekend and all signs point to the Gamecocks for the four-star.

McClain is in the house, so that's 1.

Rumors from FSU fans is that we're getting Wideman.

Green I think has been ours for some time now.

Lammons is the only one I have a concern about.  Rumors abound that he's choosing Wisconsin.

But 3 out of 4 is still awesome!!!!
