If he (and his redneck followers) think we're just gonna shrug that tirade off they are sadly mistaken. To the best of my knowledge he has never apologized, and all the clem tech hooter heads just laughed and joked about it. So, now they can take their little hurt feelings and stick it where the sun don't shine.
As for the timing of the remarks, it was basically a freaking USC/Marcus pep rally and birthday celebration! I was as down as any USC fan on Saturday (and a few days after) but Marcus didn't die, and it wasn't his funeral. I think the rally was a way for all USC fans to wash away those bad feelings from Saturday, and cheer on Marcus. It wasn't the time to get up there and lament all that has happened.
