He has great acceleration and change of direction.  We have got to get the ball in his hands often in space and let him do his thing.  Crazy we are not using him more.

 
I don’t remember seeing him yesterday. But stats show he had one catch for 13 yards. He needs the ball more.

That was what prompted me to post this.  I did not catch his jersey number when the pass was thrown and saw how quick he was and thought who the hell is that.  His speed and quickness jumped out to me.  After I saw it was Dak.  I guess I understand not wanting to get him hurt as he is our only back up QB and maybe that is why we are not seeing him more as a receiver

I feel you will see Dak inserted in more games. Mizzu would be a good start.

 
Can he field punts or kicks? Or would that be too big of a risk because he is the #2 QB?  He could be lethal in space returning kicks.

Being just the 2 would lean to risk because he is the #2 QB

I think he can but we need to force some punts to see.  I don't think you need your #2 QB fielding kicks of any type.

What?? Did you not watch the game? Markway was solid and did a great job blocking in the run game.

I also agree that Dak needs the ball more as he can make things happen and is dangerous in space. I hope we use both him and get a better RB rotation moving forward.

 
I wish that Coach B-Mac would have used Dak on the "wide-roll-out-play" in case the run was not there - Dak could sling it down field.  Maybe we will see that in the future because he is "cat-quick".  I also wish he would either tighten his chinstrap or get a bigger helmet as it seems to fly off a lot and he has to come out for one play when this happens.

It’s his hair.  I’ve noticed it a lot this season, across football.  Players with a lot of hair, like dreds, have their helmets pop off with the slightest contact.  I would think it would be uncomfortable, as well.  I’ll bet the helmet wouldn’t pop off my bald melon very easily.

 
Dak was targeted twice.  One ball was tipped but the other he caught and looked good in open space.  I'm surprised we didn't use him more, because that's basically what Bama did to us all day...short passes in space with their 4 studs

Those were some smart plays for them and I agree. I wonder how Dak would do on some of those sweep plays we're doing with Bryan Edwards.
