I really like this young man. As I mentioned in another thread, we haven't seen enough of him this season. I want to see him throw the ball. Apparently, many feel he's not very accurate, but I don't have enough evidence to come to that conclusion. The truth be told if the qb can get it in the same zip code as Edwards he will catch it.

Need to get him involved in some packages where he is utilized differently. Maybe on a jet sweep where he has the option to run/pass, quick screen to him and get him the ball in space, drag routes... I just don't see him getting it done at QB but think he can be effective if we get him the ball and let him go to work. Being thin at QB might prevent us from getting him these kinds of looks, who knows.

Our offense isn't set up for his style of play. He truthfully needs to be at a place like Oklahoma. He needs the line to be spread out so he can see but he also needs to be more patient on the calls for him to run. He doesn't wait long enough for the line to open a nice hole for him. He does nothing to blindside the defense into thinking anything other than he's running.

I wish him the best, but I cant tell if coaches aren't putting him in a position to be successful, or he just is having trouble.
