Davis or Wilds?? Who you got??

First, let me say, I’m glad we have BOTH.

But, who do you think looked better against UNC? I know Davis had the big TD run. But if you take that run away, he has 11 carries for 40 yds…or 3.63 YPC. Wilds had 12 carries for 64 yds…5.3 YPC.

I thought overall Wilds looked a little better on his runs. He reminds me of Marcus how low he gets going through the line. Kid looks like a missle going through there.

It’s a great problem to have, and we’d be doing very well to have either one of them on their own.

I’ll take both please. I just don’t think you have enough sample size for your stats to have significance right now.

Of the two I can see why Sands named Davis the starter. He’s lower to the ground, shiftier in the hole, almost as powerful, and has a little more top end. In fact I think Davis compares favorably to Gurley because he’s a little tougher in the box. Gurely is fairly upright so if you can get him early you can hold his numbers down (you better get him early though). We weren’t the only team to do that last year. Also I think Davis is better with the pass out the backfield.
