4 star DB Chris Lammons 5-foot-9, 180 pounder of Plantation, FL signed with USC over Wisconsin Wednesday giving the Gamecocks another significant football related victory over the Badgers in the state of Florida. The Gamecocks defeated Wisconsin in the Capital One Bowl in Orlando on January 1st. Lammons once was a Florida commitment but ended that on January 9th. He visited USC the weekend of January 17th. Lammons played mostly at quarterback last season but will be a corner at USC. In the Wing-T, he passed for 1100 yards and 13 touchdowns and rushed for 895 yards and 12 touchdowns. "He's an outstanding athlete with real good speed," said his coach Steve Davis. "He's a 4.4 kid. And he's got long arms. He has the reach of a person 6'3."
