Shane Beamer: DC Clayton White deserves a lot of credit. First shutout since 2008 (Beamer was an asst. on that staff). Couldn't find a play where the defense wasn't working hard. :football-touchdown-dance-smilesmall:

He definitely has improved our defense, but let’s not look past the amazing job Coach Lembo has done with our Special Teams.
I planned to straighten up the house while listening to the game on the radio, but we played so good I watched the whole game instead.
Sure, it's still one game at a time for me, but I think we're going to be pretty good this season and those down the road as well.

White did a great job Saturday night. I think the entire staff was well prepared and the game day coaching was light years ahead of what we saw from Muschamp's staff IMO. I think this staff will continue to have us prepared and in a position to compete. We have some really strong teams on our schedule that I don't really expect to beat, but I think we can be competitive with them.

TRob's defense in comparison was trash.
We had 2 NFL DB's last year, another DB who starts at FSU (and Played well) and Keir Thomas among others who left us and he still couldn't coach them to look formidable. It is so refreshing to see this new staff at work.
