A one-time South Carolina commit, Arden Key has become one of the most wanted defensive players in the country since opening his recruitment back up. The Lithonia, Georgia native already holds offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, and South Carolina, among others. We caught up with the 4-star defensive end recently to discuss his recruitment. ON twitter last week he claimed he was coming for the #1 2015 DE spot in the rankings.

Q: What factors are you taking into consideration most when choosing a school?
Arden Key: “Playing time and graduation rate”
Q: What stands out about South Carolina to you and are they still near the top for you?
Arden Key: “Yeah, how everybody from children on up is a Gamecock and knows more about yourself than you do and knowing the coaches keep it 100 from the start.”
Q: What player at the pro or college level would you most compare yourself to?
Arden Key: “Aldon Smith”
Q: When would you like to come to a final decision on a school?
Arden Key: “Right on signing day”
Key also stated during the interview that he was not sure which schools he would take official visits to next year and that he did not have any leaders at this point.
