DE Desmond Umeozulu (6-5 220) of Upper Marlboro, MD is to announce his college commitment on Monday at 11:00 a.m. EST. His final four are South Carolina, Ohio State, North Carolina, and Pittsburgh. Now for the 2023 class, South Carolina already has pledges from Maryland products Zahbari Sandy and Oluwatosin Babalade. The staff continues to pursue Umeozulu and five-star athlete Nyckoles Harbor. Landing both would be a coup, plus it would make this class the best ever and lead to their highest ranking class in school history. ON3 has the Gamecock chance of lading Umeozulu at 90.5 %.
