4 star DE Jesse Aniebonam 6'5" 225lbs of Olney, MD has not narrowed his list to a top group but when he does, Clemson and USC stand a very good chance of being on that list. Aniebonam said Monday night he remains very interested in both, and both are "on top of my list" though he's not naming any favorites right now. Neither school has been by this spring but he's expecting Clemson's Brent Venables to visit soon. He has been in touch with Venables and USC recruiter GA Mangus. Tennessee visited Monday and Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame and Stanford have been thru. Aniebonam visited Maryland and Virginia Tech this spring and will visit USC and Clemson this summer. He's also looking at possible visits to Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Notre Dame. Aniebonam is interested in Clemson and USC for several reasons. "At Clemson, it's the football success and academic success," he said. "I feel like they are that one all around school. I like the coaching staff. They are great people. I've been hearing good words from Clemson. South Carolina, it's a beautiful campus from what I've see, and the football team team of course. The defensive scheme is something that really attracted me to them also. It feels like it would be a good fit in the long run." Aniebonam said he'll evaluate both schools further after his visits. He plans to make a decision before the season.
