DE Matthew Butler set with second official visit

DE Matthew Butler of Garner, NC is not revealing his official visit dates until the week of each visit. This weekend he is going to Penn State. Last week he visited Duke. USC will also get a visit for one of its early games in October. He also will visit Tennessee and NC State.
As for his visit to Duke, Butler said it went very well for him.
“I got to see what I needed to see,” Butler said. “I saw Duke’s uniqueness and now I’m just looking for the uniqueness in the other schools and figure out which unique quality is the best quality for Matthew Butler.”
Butler said he’s hearing regularly from USC recruiter Lance Thompson last talking to him Sunday.
“Just checking up on me and making sure the date is good for the official visit,” he said. “A text message can only go but so far.”
Butler said Thompson has been talking with him about a date at the end of September or in October for him to come to his school for an evaluation.
Butler does not have a favorite at this point from the five schools he’s considering.
