DE Mykelle McDaniel up in air

According to Grayson High School coach Mickey Conn in Loganville, GA, USC did not make it in last week to see his defensive end Mykelle McDaniel who was offered by the previous staff. Conn said McDaniel still wants to go to USC and was close to committing, or may have committed, to the old staff. Having not heard from the Gamecocks, he’s not sure what the plans are for McDaniel related to them. Several other schools, including Kentucky and Mississippi State were in to check on him. This season McDaniel totaled 60 tackles and 5.5 sacks.
