Raiqwon O’Neal
DE Raiqwon O’Neal of Conway has a busy agenda in the next week beginning Saturday with a stop at USC for the Spurs Up Cookout. After he leaves Columbia he’s heading to the Northeast where he knows Rutgers and Maryland will be two of his visits. O’Neal said USC remains a constant in his ear hoping to bring him into the fold. He said he’s been talking with Will Muschamp, Lance Thompson and Eric Wolford.
“They tell me that they really want me and we start building a relationship,” O’Neal said. “They are going back to what they use to be and they are building the program back up.”
Asked if he had any special feelings for USC, O’Neal said, “Yes sir, but it’s classified. I do have a favorite but nobody knows it.”
O’Neal also has offers from NC State, Indiana, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Mississippi State, Michigan, Penn State and others.
O’Neal will announce his decision on August 16th live with Brandon Dunn on WPDE-TV during the station’s 6:00 PM newscast.
