Lewis getting first look at USC

DE Tyquan Lewis of Tarboro, NC attended USC's spring practice Tuesday and is staying over night in Columbia. Wednesday he will go on a tour of the campus and check out the academic side of the school. His mother is with him on his visit which is his first to USC. Lewis kept a close eye on the defensive line during Tuesday's practice. "They are athletic and seemed to get after it," Lewis said. He talked with Gamecock assistants Everette Sands, Joe Robinson and Brad Lawing along with defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and the rest of the defensive linemen. Lewis will go to North Carolina Thursday and stay there thru the spring game Saturday. He has been to North Carolina before and has also visited Clemson, NC State and Wake Forest. He said he probably will go to Ohio State for its spring game. Lewis does not have a favorite and will wait until some point in his season before making a decision. "I'm just going to enjoy the ride for a big longer," he said.
