DE Xavier Thomas makes move

Five-star defensive end Xavier Thomas, the former No. 1-ranked prospect from the state of South Carolina in 2018, left Florence on Saturday. Thomas, who’s transferring from Wilson High School, has moved in at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
Thomas previously announced that he would choose between South Carolina and Clemson. However, Josh Newberg of 247Sports reported that Thomas hasn’t closed the door on Florida State, his first offer.
