QB Ryan Hilinski of Orange, CA, who visited USC earlier in the month, told 247Sports USC will be one of the schools on his short list when he cuts things down. He also mentioned Georgia and Ole Miss as others that will be on the list.
USC target DE Rashad Cheney of Atlanta announced a top seven of Penn State, Miami, Minnesota, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Georgia State and Florida. In late January Cheney, a former Georgia commit, said the Gamecocks were strong with him. Thursday he said he felt better about the other schools. “I just feel like these schools are best for me.”
