South Carolina has not lost to a team from North Carolina this century. In the early 2000's it did not mean much, but now that we are nearing 20 years, it begins to have some significance.

So I went back and looked, and sure enough here are the records:

East Carolina 4-0

North Carolina 3-0

NC State 3-0

Western Carolina 1-0

TOTAL 11-0

 
I would say the NC State wins are sweet due to the QBs they had.  Close calls against East Carolina were unexpected.

I appreciate them knocking Clemson out of the NCAA regionals this year. :roflmao:

It was just not a good year for Clemson baseball against teams named the Gamecocks (lost 3 of 4).
