4 star DL Albert Huggins 6' 2" 279lbs of Orangeburg-Wilkinson is one of the state's top junior prospects with a dozen offers already on the table. Auburn was the most recent. Earlier offers came from USC, Clemson, Florida State, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisville, Georgia, NC State, North Carolina and SC State. But all of that has taken a back set to getting ready for the upcoming season. He hasn't planned any visits for games this season. He would like to get to the Clemson-Georgia game but his father is having some surgery right about then so he's not sure he will be able to make it. As for developing a favorites list, Huggins says that hasn't happened yet. "I'm just taking my time right now," he said. "I really don't know." He also doesn't have a current preference for staying in state or leaving. "When it comes down to Signing Day it might make a difference or it might not, I really don't know," Huggins said. "Right now I'm just trying to learn everything I can learn about each team. I'm just doing a background check on every team so I can be ready." Huggins added that between the Gamecocks and Tigers with him right now there is no favorite. "I treat both of them as equally as possible," he said. "They both have great coaching staffs and their football programs are top notch." Huggins added there is no timetable for a decision for him. "Whenever it hits me," he said.
