4 star DL Deadrin Senat 6'2" 295lbs of Immokalee, FL has set his official visit with USC for the Gamecocks' primary recruiting weekend of January 18th. Senat talked with his recruiter GA Mangus earlier this week and plans to contact him again Thursday. "I'm really interested," he said. "I haven't surprised them yet and told them that's where I want to go. But I am very interested. I would commit on the visit if they are willing to take my commitment." Senat, who once was committed to Florida State, said he's also talking to Tennessee, Rutgers, Texas A&M and Ole Miss. Senat added that his teammate, All American DB Mackensie Alexander, might join him on the visit to USC though he said that's not a definite. Senat said in his opinion, at this point, he thinks Alexander will choose Clemson.

Senat looking forward to seeing USC

01/18/13

With Keith Bryant's interest in USC apparently waning, the Gamecocks likely will increase their interest in 4 star DL Deadrin Senat 6'2" 295lbs of Immokalee, FL. Senat met with recruiter GA Mangus earlier in the week and will make his official visit this weekend. "He was in for a couple of hours and we talked, had a good conversation," said Senat who will make the visit alone and be hosted by Jordan Diggs. "I just want to see how it is, have fun, see the environment, and see if I can picture myself staying there." Senat is a former Florida State commitment but has been strong on USC since the Gamecocks became involved. He's not sure a commitment will come this weekend. 'I'm thinking about taking some time," he said. "I want to compare and contract. I want to see how this (visit) is going to be. I'll probably wait until Signing Day." Senat visited South Florida last weekend and is scheduled to visit NC State next weekend.
