3 star DL Kwamelle Barnes 6'3" 286lbs of Saluda has yet to receive an offer but does have a top three. He recently visited LSU and has them among his favorites. "I don't really have a favorite but I would say that LSU, Florida and North Carolina are my top three," said Barnes. His visit to Baton Rouge has him strong on the Tigers. "I was most impressed with their graduation rates," he said. "It blew me away. They care about their players." Barnes has not heard much from Clemson or USC lately but continues to show interest. "I visited USC already this year so I'll probably go to Clemson for their spring game," Barnes said. "I haven't been there since they played USC." LSU is expected to evaluate Barnes during spring practice and has Barnes confident an offer could be coming soon. Other schools showing interest include UNC, Florida and Duke.
