DL Tyrone Truesdell 6'3" 299lbs of Augusta, GA said his top schools are this point are USC, Florida, Louisville, Kentucky, Auburn and Ole Miss. Truesdell visited USC earlier this year and the Gamecocks have continued to work him.
“I’m supposed to go there for a game,” Truesdell said. “It probably will be when they play East Carolina. I talked to coach Thompson a couple of weeks ago and he said they really want me to come there and they can see me being a big impact (at defensive tackle). I can see myself going there. It’s close to home. They’ve got a pretty good business program. And I have pretty good chemistry with the coaches.”
Truesdell said all the schools are recruiting him about the same but Florida is working him a little harder than the rest because he talks with the coaches there “pretty much on a regular basis. I don’t have a favorite. Every school that’s recruiting me kind of got their own thing that leads me towards them. After I take these official visits and by the time the season comes to an end I’ll probably make my mind up by January.”
Truesdell said he wants to take official visits to Auburn, Louisville and Kentucky because he hasn’t visited them before. He’s undecided on the other two official visits.
