My breakdown Carolina vs. Clemson

Clemson O-Line vs. Carolina's D-Line Advantage Clemson

Clemson's D-Line vs. Carolina's O-Line Advantage Clemson

Clemson's WRs vs. Carolina's secondary  Advantage Clemson

Clemson's secondary vs. Carolina's WRs Advantage Clemson

Clemson's LBs vs. Carolina's running backs Advantage Clemson

Clemson's special teams vs. Carolina's special teams  Even

There might be one on one matchup that gives Carolina an advantage. Anyone here can you think of one?

If there would to be an advantage it would be our Dline vs. their Oline. Our female cheer leaders are also much better looking than theirs. jus sayin

I would say our d-line could be an advantage.  Don't agree with special teams.  I don't think we have anyone that can field a punt with Edwards out and don't even get me started on our punt coverage.  While we have a great punter the coverage may possibly be the worst I have seen.

:woohoo-jumping-smiley-emoticon: on our cheerleaders

I was locked in on our kickers. Your right. Kickers will get a workout Saturday.

As a whole each unit they have is superior to ours.   Maybe in a position along the DL or in situations we may have a slight advantage. Maybe.
Also, our return teams play is questionable.   How many yards have we given up by not fielding punts in the air most of the season.  No matter the player our plan is to most often not field the punt allowing a huge roll to be downed.  Talent isn’t our issue all the time.  Sometimes it’s football intelligence or just awareness.  Kinda like bringing a ko out of the end zone when the kickoff team is already on the 25 running full steam.   Not good results typically.

Our kick and punt return guys have been abysmal. Maybe I’m forgetting someone, but IIRC the last great punt return guy we had was Ace Sanders.

We need some electric athletes, guys who are a threat to take the ball to the house every time they touch it.

This really is a mystery.  A nice start would be just catching the ball.  I would count that as progress.  We can think about trying to move it forward after we learn to catch it.  Maybe audition a couple of the centerfielders from the baseball team to walk on just to field punts....

Ace Dilcock had a nice breakdown earlier this season to show how the gap in talent between the two programs has closed considerably. Hopefully he can come on here and enlighten us
