Between our baker's dozen class, a decent amount on the roster, and being involved with a lot of quality high school players, it was a little surprising we offered a JUCO DT IMO.

Is he that good or does our roster need help?

Next season:
Surratt - RS SR
Dixon - RS JR
Dixon - RS JR
Dukes - RS JR
Green - RS JR
Griffin - RS FR or true SO
1-2 other DTs from this class

Couple points:

1. I love that all of those dudes were redshirted.

2. The tallest of the bunch is 6'3 I think - Green, although I could be wrong. Amin is 6'5 and plays at about 330 plus he'd have 3 to play 3.

I think he's an upgrade over what we've got. He's also a totally different type size wise than all of the others.

Get him, Ford or Newell and Wideman(likely prep placement and member of 2015 class and you've done pretty well. Hell Pringle would be a good get too IMO.

Good question. I think it's the fact that he has 3 yrs to play 3 that we offered. I suppose they see him as someone who can immediately compete for PT, or they wouldn't have offered. Precious worked out for us with that formula. We got 2 pretty good years out of him.
