Virginia Tech was the first major program to notice the talents of WR Austin Connor 6'0" 180lbs of Dutch Fork and step up with an offer and others are sure to follow. Connor is one of the state’s fastest players and is a threat to win the 100 meters state championship this spring.
On the football field last fall, Connor had 30 catches, averaging 30 yards per catch, and had 5 touchdowns receiving and 4 rushing.
Connor also has an offer from Dartmouth. He went to Virginia Tech’s junior day and is going to Duke March 7th for a spring practice. He’s also planning to visit Wake Forest. Connor also visited Miami for track. He’s had mail from USC but no direct contact from a recruiter.
Connor said he doesn’t have a favorite but his five favorites, regardless of reciprocating interest, are USC, Virginia Tech, NC State, Georgia and North Carolina.
