e-mail notifications

So I keep getting loaded up with e-mails every time someone posts in a thread I have posted on. I have changed my notification settings to received only one e-mail per week with notifications". But I keep getting them. 

Is there another setting somewhere?

Changing this option will not affect existing followed content.

OK thanks - I unfollowed the threads. Hopefully that will take care of it.

How do I stop automatically subscribing to threads? I don't want to have to go to my settings and unsubscribe from threads that I posted in to stop getting e-mails every time someone else posts.

All that is unchecked nad has been. I made one comment in the game thread and get 50- emails about new posts in the thread. Not sure what else to do. I have uncheked every e-mail notification setting I can find, as well as unchekced every thread follow. but I keep getting e-mails. Is this not an issue for anyone else?

Still getting flooded with e-mails. I have all notifica off / disables as well as unchecked the automatically follow content. But it still comes. I just made an e-mail filter to just send everything to trash.

SA, I don't receive any emails.  I'd be happy to compare settings with you.  I never turned any notifications on.
