Early look at South Carolina Gamecocks 2020 football schedule

Jan. 24, 2020, | GCF Staff Report

In perhaps the most important season for Muschamp survivor here at South Carolina are wins, wins and wins! They are must for Muschamp to have a extended stay at South Carolina. "The road ahead is daulting for Muschamp and the Gamecocks in 2020." (VIEW ARTICLE)

Looking at the early road ahead. Wins and losses' What you say? 5,6,7 maybe more, less?

I say we need to get back to a bowl game. Do that, don't look completely inept on the field, and we all start feeling a lot better about the state of the program.

How? Who can the Gamecocks beat to at least get 6 wins. For sure trip to go bowling 7 wins? Will anyone here be happy with 6 or 7 wins and another butt stumping at the end to boot?

Assuming that we play with some competence, this outcome should be within the realm of reasonable expectations.

Beat Coastal, ECU, Vandy, and Wofford. Either beat both UK and Missouri, or split those and get 1 win out of UF, UT, and A&M. That gets us 6 wins without even really doing anything that would shock anyone.

At this point I don't know what to think, though. I mean at one point last season, we were riding high on toppling Georgia and then just a few weeks later getting embarrassed by App St. Hell for all I know, we could be down to our scout team before midseason due to yet another rash of injuries.

Thank god Gamecocks open up with Coastal Carolina. But then again most thought Gamecocks would put a whopping on the Tarholes. But I can say Gamecocks will be 1-0 to start with. That is as far as I will go through for now.

Well the good news is that we have a new strength & fitness coordinator to blame for all injuries...

If Head and Shoulders is good enough for Troy Polamalu, not sure why Clemson feels they need to use the Paul Mitchell Osterine Original Shampoo with Morrocan Oil.

Which home games here to you plan to attend?

Home games of most interest:

Missouri, Georgia, Tenn. and Texas A&M

Out of conference kinda weak. which is probably for the best.

Coastal Car., East Carolina and Wofford

SEC slate as always tough as nails. Outer conference slate lot easier just the one butt stumping we will get by Clemson. So 3-1 Slate on outer. Gamecock have no excuse not to win 6 or 7.

With  a very nice recruiting class in the books. Can they contribute and help propel the Gamecocks to a winning season this fall?
