4 star Conway WR Bryan Edwards 6'3" 205lbs has been to USC and Georgia and those two are tied at the top of his list right now. He is returning to USC this Saturday for another junior day and he hopes to have some clarity on a favorite by the time he leaves.
“It could go either way really,” Edwards said. “I like both schools. I’m hoping to put some separation between them.”
A great experience likely would propel the Gamecocks to the front and Edwards conceded a really great experience might lead to a commitment.
“I wouldn’t say it’s not possible,” he said. “I’ll know it when it hits me. I’m not going in looking for any specific things. I’m going in with an open mind and take it all in and if it feels like the place I want to be I’ll pull the trigger.”
Edwards also plans a return visit to Georgia. And he said Tennessee is now showing him a lot of interest and he would visit there if the Vols offer. Edwards said even if he commits Saturday he will not shut down his recruiting.
His other offers include Clemson, Virginia Tech, Florida, Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Wake Forest and Cal. Clemson is not actively recruiting Edwards at this point.
