Jeremy Schaap's appearance on ESPN explaining the interview with Manti Teo was horrendous. I think it is the closest example that I have seen to state-controlled media in communist and other non-freedom of the press countries. He might as well have been Manti teo's press secretary. He cleared up a couple of inconsistencies about meeting her. He didn't explain how he was told she died and by who? Didn't explain the two different cities that he mentioned the funeral was at? He accepted everything Manti Teo told him and didn't ask him man to man how could you fall in love with the love of your life without ever meeting her in person. Schaap said that Teo said he doesn't understand why people would think he is gullible. HOW CAN THIS BE JOURNALISM OR EVEN BELIEVABLE.
