If he can land Poona Ford, KC Crosby, and Darin Smalls, I would say that he had a successful recruiting campaign.

We need for Sands, Botkin, or Brown to be successful on the recruiting trail to maintain success. Although, I am not sure how much success Botkin is going to have with his current territory.

Sands has a chance the next two years to really make an impact on the recruiting trail based on which players are in his territory.

At this point I think Botkin will be at his best when he's recruiting specific linebackers he likes, even if they're not in his area. The area he recruits just doesn't produce a lot of players who are likely to come to USC, especially in a year where the Gamecocks will likely only sign 14-15 players.
