Finally some real news on DE Jordan Burch

Hammond DE Jordan Burch has been the most silent of the national elite players in the 2020 class when it comes to disclosing information about his recruiting. That has driven the recruiting network experts crazy. He has to be a USC lock because it’s close to home and Will Muschamp has made him a priority some believe. But, others counter he must be going to Clemson because, after all, he wants to win championships. As it turns out, the two in-state schools are still in the running with three other SEC programs. Burch said so himself on Monday, with a tweet.
Well actually, Burch didn’t say anything, which has been his approach to recruiting. But he did tweet out a graphic featuring him in uniforms of his five finalists. And he has chosen those to be, in alphabetical order, Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU and South Carolina. And that’s all he gave the thirsty recruiting mavens. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Burch is coming off an official visit to LSU over the weekend. That was his second visit to Baton Rouge. He also was there in late February. Burch has been to Clemson twice this year, once in January and once in July. He’s expected to visit for a game in November. He visited USC in January, twice in March, for the spring game in April, and for the Alabama game in September. He also has been to Georgia and Alabama unofficially.
Burch is expected to take his four other official visits before rendering a decision. He has not announced a date for his commitment. He will play in the Under Armour All-America Game January 2nd in Orlando and often, for the national recruits, they will use the setting of their AA game to make their commitment announcement.
