First win from the portal?

Hopefully we can find an OC that will use tight ends a little better than Muse and Bell were used this year.

 
dang...big kid there!  I hope we use him if he comes!  I wouldn't mind seeing Rattler as well but that is a pipe dream

 
I think Shane will find us some good players in the portal, but our biggest problem right now is our offense doesn't really have an identity right now.

That's important if you're trying to recruit a certain player for a specific reason.

 
Patiently waiting to see what the transfer portal does for us this year.  With Beamers message and vision it could be good (fingers crossed)

 
You hear people say that Shane might have been the new HC for the Sooners if he was still on staff up there, but I think Shane's struggles here in the SEC may have strongly influenced Riley's decision to take the So Cal job.

Shane knows all the good Sooner players and they obviously know him.

Shane tends to go with who he already knows, so I think we may potentially get some very good players from Oklahoma that other programs might not get because of Shane's relationships with them.

 
Rumor now that he has come and gone. Visits now scheduled for Bama and Ohio State - may need to look elsewhere.

 
Still might get him, really did not think it would end with a visit. I feel he and Rattler could end up at the same school. We will see.
