Per Slater’s blog in the P&C Shaw is having surgery on his left foot today (Friday) and won’t be available for spring practice, which means in the Spring Thompson will get most all the 1st team snaps and Nosovitch will likely get the majority of the second team snaps. I’m sure they’d prefer to redshirt Connor Mitch but he will get a longer look than usual with Shaw out for the spring.

Don’t see Nosovitch (or Mitch for that matter) moving up to the number 1 or 2 spot in the fall assuming Shaw heals completely and comes back healthy.
