Former college football official names SEC stadium as loudest he's ever been in

Matt Austin is a long-time SEC official and knows what the different stadium environments are like, especially for night games.
So during a segment on Monday with Alyssa Lang on “The Paul Finebaum Show” on the SEC Network, Austin referred to the loudest game he can remember being a part of in his career. “You can’t beat a night game at LSU,” he said. “That’s just a wonderful venue. The atmosphere is electric, the fans are tuned into the game. They make a lot of noise.”
But Tiger Stadium is not the answer to the question that he’s often faced with, “What’s the noisiest stadium I’ve ever been in?” Austin said people are often surprised about his answer.
“I tell people the truth, and they get really surprised, and it’s South Carolina,” he said. FROM SDS (READ)
