there for him. He’s hoping one of those opportunities is with USC. The Gamecocks had recruited him until he committed to the Gators in laste March. He plans to contact Gamecock recruiter Everette Sands in the near future to judge his interest.

“They haven’t talked to me since I committed in March,” Tisdale said. “I had a good relationship with Coach Sands and Coach Spurrier. I have family from there. They have a good environment and a good support system. And they have good coaches. There was nothing wrong with them. I like how they coach and how the players are. I like the school and the environment. I like everything. I was blessed to be offered by them and I just thank the coaches for the offer.”

Tisdale attended a game at USC last season and has been there for an unofficial visit and a junior day. He said Sands is good friends with his former coach and feels he can easily contact Sands and talk with him about his situation, and he plans to make that contact soon.

Tisdale said despite his commitment to the Gators, he didn’t have much communication with the staff over the past few months and that led him to end his relationship with the program.

“They just stopped talking to me and didn’t really communicate, they wouldn’t answer,” he said. “They only talked when I came up to Gainesville and I didn’t really appreciate that. I felt alone and distant. I felt like I was pretty much a free agent. “I want a school that’s going to communicate with me and call me every once in a while, show some interest.”

Tisdale took an official visit to Oregon State last weekend. He also picked up a recent offer from West Virginia and has also had offers from Kentucky and Miami.

This season he has around 500 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns.
