Former Gamecock commit Nation’s No. 1 junior college wide receiver commits to LSU

The nation’s top-ranked junior college wide receiver is going home.
WR Stephen Guidry committed to LSU, he announced Saturday. Guidry, who hadpreviously been committed to South Carolina, received an offer from LSU earlier this month.
The Tigers showed interest in the Morganza, La., native during his senior season of high school back in 2015 when he caught 36 passes for 854 yards and 13 touchdowns for Livonia High School. He is currently at Hinds Community College in Raymond, Miss.
Listed at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, he is rated as the No. 1 wide receiver and No. 4 player in the junior college ranks for the Class of 2017 by 247Sports.
Guidry had recently named Alabama as his leader, but ultimately chose to return to Louisiana and join the Tigers.
