Former Georgia QB added to the Gamecock coaching staff. Bobby Bentley changes roles

After Mike Bobo was hired as the Gamecock offensive coordinator, the buzz was Bobo might try to bring on his former assistant and quarterback Joe Cox. On Thursday, Will Muschamp announced how that will happen. (VIEW ARTICLE)

I am getting the feeling here the way Bobo has taken over the offense now, that Boom will have hands off approach which for his sake is  a very good ideal. Hope and pray it stays that why having a ex head coach being the head coach of offense. Maybe finally it has sunken in.

Let's hope so.  I hope in the future we can start to work some former Gamecock coaches into the staff.  Right now you are the odd man out on our staff if you did not play for GA.

I think this move was as much getting his guys in, as well as Bobo physically can’t be a full time position coach.
