Romello Martin, the No. 27 ranked defensive tackle in the class of 2017, cut down his list of schools on Friday night.
The newly released top six still includes four SEC schools: Florida, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee. Miami and Rutgers also made the cut.
Gone from Martin’s top 10 are Florida State, Kansas, Louisville and Syracuse
Martin, who’s from Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, N.Y., took a multi-day visit to South Carolina in August. He also made stops at Florida and Florida State this summer.
According to the 247Sports composite, Martin is the No. 2 overall prospect from the state of New York.
