Four-star ATH Jordan Cronkrite 5'11" 199lbs (Miami, Fla./Westminster Christian School), who projects to play running back at the next level, has been committed to Miami since April but says his "recruiting is still open to all schools."
"I'm still going to take my visits to some other places this summer," Cronkrite said. "I think I'm for sure going to Ohio State, South Carolina and maybe Notre Dame and a couple of other places."
The 5-foot-11, 196-pound Cronkrite has offers from programs like Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina and Tennessee among many others.
With a rating of 0.9044 in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, Cronkrite is considered the No. 21 ATH in the country.
What does he think of the Gamecocks?
"It's a great football school," Cronkrite said. "It's a great tradition over there. In the past, they've had great running backs. Marcus Lattimore was probably the most recent one. It would be a chance to go and better myself if I was to go there. It's a great school."
The nation's No. 256 overall prospect is being recruited to Carolina by running backs coach Everette Sands.
"Me and him have a great relationship," Cronkrite said. "He hits me up on Twitter all the time. We can talk about anything
