Four-star defensive tackle Anthony Moten 6'4" 279lbs has restructured his recruitment since de-committing from Florida on July 20.

Who is he still considering?

“South Carolina, Miami, Florida State, Notre Dame and Michigan State,” Moten told 247Sports Saturday morning at Sun Life Stadium during the inaugural South Florida High School Football Media Day hosted by the Miami Dolphins.

When would he like to make his final decision?

“After I take official visits to all of those schools,” Moten said. “Probably in January sometime.”

South Carolina - “That’s a good program. They have some beastly defensive linemen. (Secondary) coach (Grady) Brown is recruiting me the hardest of anyone.”

Florida State - “They want me. They want me to play the 3-technique for them. They really want me.”

Miami - “They are always there. That was my first offer. They’re there like everybody else is too. I don’t have any concerns about them.”

 

In closing “I’m definitely taking one to South Carolina and Florida State for sure,” Moten said. “And to Michigan State and Notre Dame.” “I’m open to everyone and looking at everybody,” Moten said. “I’ll make my decision after my senior season.”
