Four-star defensive tackle visits South Carolina for Muschamp camp
June 09, 2016

Defensive tackle Josh Belk, one of the state of South Carolina’s top prospects in the 2018 class, is in Columbia for Thursday’s Will Muschamp Football Camp.

The 6-foot-3, 282-pound rising junior from Lewisville High School (Richburg, S.C.) already has offers from South Carolina, LSU, Auburn, Clemson, Florida State and Ohio State.

During the first portion of the day’s camp, Belk received plenty of attention from the South Carolina coaching staff, including Muschamp and defensive line coach Lance Thompson.

Belk is in town with Travelle Crosby, a 6-foot-7, 305-pound offensive tackle from Nation Ford High School (Fort Mill, S.C.). The 2018 prospect is also drawing interest from Clemson and NC State.

Also with their group is Alex Stennett, who had over 1,300 yards receiving as a junior at Nation Ford. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect also has interest from NC State and Wake Forest.

247Sports ranks Belk as the No. 26 overall prospect in the class of 2018.
